When I started GIVIT, I knew it would grow as people realised how easy it was to give back to their community. GIVIT’s strength lies in its simplicity and effectiveness. We ensure that donations go directly to where they are needed most, and we created a model that minimises waste and maximises impact. I’m so proud of everything we have collectively achieved.

We have supported GIVIT since 2011 and are proud to continue this important partnership. As our country faces the increased frequency and severity of extreme weather events, the role GIVIT plays in providing a transparent, coordinated and effective solution to connecting generous donors with people in need is vital in supporting communities in their recovery.

GIVIT has been an amazing resource for the Kuranda community following Cyclone Jasper and flooding in 2023. There were several homes completely flooded resulting in community members losing everything. GIVIT supported Kuranda Neighbourhood Centre by donating essential items such as fridges and mattresses, cupboards and vacuum cleaners as well as kids toys and a new tablet for a business owner. These things made a massive difference for those that needed it.
