Help people affected by floods and storms in Victoria
UPDATE FEBRUARY 2024: Storms have impacted much of Victoria, with widespread power outages, and reports of extensive damage to homes.
GIVIT is also assisting communities impacted by flooding across Victoria in January 2024, and continues to assist people impacted by the devastating floods in 2022. Many communities, including Seymour, Rochester, Echuca, Shepparton and Mooroopna, have been impacted by both these flood events, and many flood-impacted locals are still living in temporary accommodation while they recover.
You can donate to help people in Victoria by funding one of the requests from the list below. Otherwise, donate to our Storms and Flooding Appeal to support recovery across Australia.
Donate to Flood & storm relief
GIVIT is working with the Victorian State Government to manage donation offers during recovery from these floods and storms.
Recovery organisations will request specific items and services to help people affected by flood and storm events once the impact is assessed. Please do not take or send unrequested items to impacted areas. Unsolicited donations hinder recovery.
100% of publicly donated funds received by GIVIT for this appeal will be used to purchase essential items and services to help people affected by flooding and storms.
